I was in-house web content editor for University of Central Lancashire‘s Journalism department website UKJournalism.org, with the aim of showing potential new students just how great the place was.
I used my journalism skills to interview students, staff and visiting lecturers, write up the articles and upload them. The persuasive side is where I got into copywriting; creating slogans to go on animated gifs and selling the benefits of becoming a student there rather than just waffling on about features.
I wrote over 200 articles for the site. Here’s some of the different stuff I did. Just click the images and the articles will magically appear.
